Jeremy Glover
Chief Executive:
Jerry has successfully driven the operation of the Bolton Lads and Girls Club for the past 31 years. Under Jerry’s leadership as Chief Executive, the club established its reputation as a world-class facility and model of best practice. In February 2010 Jerry stepped down from his role at BLGC to allow him to join OnSide as full time Chief Executive. He leads the OnSide team in replicating the success of the BLGC across the region.

Rob Carter
Facilities Development and Deputy Chief Executive:
With Rob’s wide operational and strategic experience he provides an additional level of project management in terms of design and liaison with the professional teams, in addition to supporting Jerry’s work.

Adam Poyner
Project Manager:
Adam is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager who has worked in both consultancy and client side environments. Adam has previously worked at Associate Director level providing clients with property consultancy advice on a range of property matters across the UK and Europe. He has provided technical due diligence advice on new acquisitions (RBS / Coutts and Co brand), carried out development monitoring duties during new build projects as well as undertaking project management duties on a variety of property types through to completion.
Adam is a Project Manager in Bruntwood’s development team and has been seconded to OnSide to advise on property and construction related matters. He is responsible for overseeing the delivery of each of the Youth Zones.

Helen Bond
Development Manager:
Helen has over 10 years fundraising and partnership development experience gained from a range of charities and most recently the University of Salford. At OnSide Helen has responsibility for securing income from Individual and Family Trusts, Corporate Foundations and Grant Making bodies to support our work and that of the Youth Zones. Currently Helen is also supporting five Youth Zone Development Managers to achieve and exceed their local private sector fundraising targets and is project managing a regional Social Return on Investment project that will enable us to demonstrate to donors and partners the impact of our investment in young people.

Rachel McCrystal
Private Sector Development Manager:
Rachel joined OnSide from the children’s charity Barnardo’s, where she worked as Senior Account Manager for five years. Prior to this, Rachel managed projects for Habitat for Humanity International, Les Medecins sans Frontieres as well as the Red Cross and MedEquip4Kids. Rachel is responsible for raising funds and support from the private sector for Onside, as well as supporting all the Youth Zone boards with their fundraising endeavours.

Andy Jackson
Volunteer and Youthwork Development Manager:
Andy joined the OnSide team in June 2010. Andy previously led the development of a vibrant and progressive youth work charity that works amongst the most challenging young people in the North West. He has also been a Director of a small personal and professional development consultancy working with Teachers, Youth Workers and Health Care Professionals.
Andy is responsible for engaging volunteers in each of the areas where OnSide is setting up Youth Zones, working with the Young People’s Development Groups to ensure they are fully engaged in the projects and developing the youth work approach across all the Zones.

Janet Dunnett
Private Sector Development Manager:
Janet’s previous position was as Chief Executive for the Piccadilly Partnership and as a consultant in the public sector in regeneration. She has experience in fundraising as well as business development and strategy, client relationship management and project management. In the last 6 years, she has developed and managed at least 50 projects from concept to completion involving both large multinational companies and SME’s.
These have ranged from sponsorship and client entertainment to employee engagement projects. Janet is responsible for raising funds and support from the private sector for Onside, as well as supporting all the new Youth Zone boards with their fundraising endeavours.

Rebecca Baron
Digital Communications Manager:
Rebecca is a communications specialist with experience working within the marketing and public relations industries, for both public and private sector organisations. Rebecca is responsible for OnSide’s marketing and communications, helping to raise its profile across the Northwest and on a national level. She also supports all the new youth zones with the development and implementation of their digital communication strategies.
