OnSide plays a key role in developing the HR strategy for each youth zone, managing the recruitment and induction of their staff teams and offering professional support and guidance on HR issues.
OnSide works closely with the Youth Zone boards to develop the staff structure and role profiles for their teams and then implement the strategy for recruitment of the Youth Zone staff. This area of OnSide’s service to the Youth Zones includes:
- Advertising, managing responses and short listing candidates to all posts
- Interviewing and managing the appointments of staff members
- Working with the Youth Zone board and advisors to develop and implement an appropriate training programme for full time members of their team
- Offering ongoing support in a mentoring capacity on recruitment and training of staff to the Youth Zone board and Chief Executives
