Returning for a second year after a successful inaugural event in 2012 which raised more than £15,000 for OnSide, The Warren Hegg Golf Classic looks set to become a regular fixture in golfers’ calenders across the north west.
Please help OnSide to build a network of 21st Century Youth Zones across the North West, giving young people quality, safe and affordable places to go in their leisure time by entering a team. We rely on donations to continue our work.
The Warren Hegg Golf Classic Event
The Warren Hegg Golf Classic is an unmissable event and 2013′s day, taking place on Thursday 6th June is no exception.
Moving to Stockport Golf Club in 2013, we’re sure you’ll love the course, which includes some of the most challenging holes in Cheshire and is regularly used for Open qualifying. The traditional club house is renowned for its traditionally warm welcome – and its food.
Like last year, teams can expect a full day of golf followed by an entertaining evening including dinner and speeches.
The day wouldn’t be complete without the prize-giving ceremony, for which we will be joined by Warren Hegg.
Your day will include:
- Soup and sandwiches on arrival at midday
- 22 teams of four competing over 18-holes in a shotgun start at 1.30pm
- Prizes for the winning teams
- Prizes for on-course challenges – nearest the pin, longest drive, nearest in two etc
- Three course dinner served at 7.30pm
- After dinner speech by Warren Hegg
- Prize-giving and charity auction
